Art as a Portal
For Anastasia, art is not created merely to decorate a space.
An image can carry something that cannot be fully expressed through words. It can interrupt the familiar, open perception and create an encounter with something deeper.
Her works are created from this understanding: not as explanations of consciousness, but as invitations to experience it.
Artist Statement
My art begins before the image.
I do not approach a work with the intention of illustrating an idea. I allow it to emerge through an intuitive process — following color, form, movement and an inner knowing until something becomes visible that was not visible before.
Whether I work with physical paint or digital tools, the process is fundamentally the same. The medium becomes a language through which consciousness can take form.
For me, an artwork is therefore more than an image. It can become a space of encounter — a portal that invites us beyond what we already know and into a deeper experience of ourselves.
