Beyond the Known

What Happens When You See Past the Illusion?

Anastasia Kaesbach in conversation with

Kirk Knapp

Episode 6

What happens when the experiences that shaped your life become an invitation to see beyond them?

In this episode of Beyond the Known, I speak with Kirk Knapp, an 82-year-old entrepreneur who shares deeply personal stories about his childhood, the loss of his brothers, and an experience that changed how he sees death. We talk about the meaning we give to what happens in our lives, the creativity we carry within us, and the power of choosing where we place our attention.

Kirk and I come to these questions from different perspectives. That makes this conversation especially interesting to me. Beneath our different words is a shared wish: for people to know themselves more deeply and discover what is possible when they live from within.

Kirk Knapp

Kirk Knapp grew up in a single-parent household after his father was imprisoned. Because of his father’s reputation, children in his neighborhood were not allowed to spend time with him. Kirk says these experiences strengthened his independence and belief in his own worth.

He later served as a military officer and received a medal for meritorious service as a commander. He founded his own brokerage firm, K.A. Knapp and Co., Inc.

Driven by a desire to help others, Kirk created Success Club, giving members access to a library of videos and audio recordings, as well as seminars with leading figures in personal development. He spoke alongside them on stage and attended twelve seminars with Tony Robbins. He also built a business that supplied people with what they needed to offer body art to their own customers.

Today, Kirk wants to help people strive and thrive in an AI-driven world.
